Homie is an AI home design tool made by Mobtive, a small independent app studio. You upload one photo of a room or a house front and Homie returns a redesigned version of the same space — the walls, windows and camera angle stay where they are, only the style changes. It runs in the browser at homedesign.lol/app and as an iPhone app.
What Homie does
- Room Redesign — Repaints and refurnishes a room while keeping its walls, windows and layout exactly where they were.
- Virtual Staging — Furnishes an empty room for listing photos — same shot, shown here as one image split down the middle.
- Style Transfer — Carries a style — Japandi, mid-century, coastal — into any room without changing its shape.
- Exterior Redesign — Redoes siding, roofline color and landscaping on a house facade.
- Color Palette — Repaints walls, trim and accents in a coordinated palette pulled from the chosen style.
- Object Removal — Clears clutter or fixtures from a shot without disturbing the rest of the room.
- Text to Room — Builds a room from a written description alone — no starting photo needed.
- Upscaler — Sharpens a generated result to real print and export resolution.
A result can also come with a shoppable decor list, a matched paint palette and a ballpark renovation cost estimate, so the picture turns into a plan.
How the results are made
Every image is generated by an AI image model from your photo and the style you choose. The before/after images and tool tiles on this site are real, unedited Homie outputs; the “before” photos in those examples are themselves AI-generated rooms, not customers’ homes. Results are visualisations, not architectural drawings — check measurements and structural work with a professional before you build.
Your photos
Photos are used only to create your designs. Location data (EXIF) is stripped in the browser before upload, and the text you type is screened against our acceptable use policy before anything is generated. Details are in the privacy policy.
