Homie — Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Homie — the mobile application and the web app at homedesign.lol (together, the “App”), operated by Mobtive (“we”, “us”). By using Homie you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Homie. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

  • In the mobile app we create an anonymous account tied to your device on first launch; you may optionally link an Apple or Google account to back up your work. On the web you sign in with a Google account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your linked account credentials secure.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

Homie is for redesigning rooms, homes and exteriors. Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms and lists what is prohibited in full. In short, you agree NOT to use Homie to:

  1. Generate or upload sexual, sexually suggestive, or nude content of any kind, or any sexual content involving minors.
  2. Manipulate real people — no face swaps, deepfakes, undressing, or depicting an identifiable person without consent. Homie is not a face or body editor; photos should show spaces, not people.
  3. Generate violent, gory, hateful, harassing, or illegal content.
  4. Deceive — never present a generated image as a real photograph of a property where that could mislead a buyer, tenant, insurer, or valuer.
  5. Upload photos you don’t have the right to use — only spaces you own, rent, manage, or have permission to redesign.
  6. Violate intellectual property of architects, designers, or property owners.
  7. Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API, or try to bypass our content screening or usage limits.
  8. Bypass payment — don’t share your subscription account with others.

Every text prompt is screened by an automated content-moderation service before generation; denied or flagged prompts are blocked. We may suspend access immediately for any violation, without refund.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Homie a limited license to:

  • Process the photo through our AI pipeline
  • Store the input and output in our Cloud Storage on your behalf
  • Display the result back to you inside the App

We do not claim ownership and do not use your photos to train AI models.

5. AI-Generated Content

Homie is an independent product built on top of third-party AI image models. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the providers of those models. Image generation currently runs on models hosted by ivCreator; text features such as cost estimates use OpenAI language models. We may change providers without notice.

AI-generated designs:

  • Are produced by third-party AI models, not by a human designer, and every result is labelled as AI output inside the App.
  • May contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected output. This is the nature of AI generation and not a defect.
  • Are for inspiration and visualization only — not architectural, structural, or renovation advice. Consult a licensed professional before any real construction, renovation, or purchase decision.
  • Are yours to use, including commercially, provided you comply with these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, and any disclosure rules that apply to you (for example, labelling virtually staged listing photos).
  • We provide them “as is” with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

6.1 Free tier

A limited number of generations per day at no cost. Upgrade to Pro for more.

6.2 Pro tier

Homie Pro raises the daily generation allowance across all features, removes ads, and unlocks unlimited design history. It is sold as a weekly (USD 3.99), monthly (USD 8.99), or yearly (USD 49.99) subscription. The current prices are always shown at https://homedesign.lol/#pricing and on the paywall before you subscribe. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.

6.3 Billing on iOS and Android

  • Purchases made inside the mobile app are billed by Apple or Google to your App Store or Google Play account.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancel at any time via App Store Settings → Subscriptions or Google Play → Subscriptions, or in-app via Settings → Manage Subscription. Access stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.

6.4 Billing on the web

  • Purchases made at homedesign.lol are processed by Creem (Creem Inc.), our merchant of record. Creem handles payment, invoicing, and tax collection, and its name may appear on your card statement.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period until cancelled.
  • Cancel at any time from inside the product: sign in at https://homedesign.lol/app/pricing and choose Manage subscription, which opens your billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Refunds. If Homie Pro did not work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of a first purchase and we will refund it in full. Renewal charges are refundable if requested within 7 days of the charge and no more than a few generations were used in that period. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Creem, typically within 5–10 business days. Refunds are not given for accounts terminated for violating these Terms.
  • To request a refund or an invoice, or to dispute a charge, contact [email protected] first; we answer within three business days.

6.5 Price changes

We may adjust prices. You’ll be notified at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on your renewal.

7. Service Availability

We do our best to keep Homie running 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause AI generation if we hit infrastructure or cost limits (rare; you’ll see a clear in-app message and can retry later).

8. Intellectual Property

The Homie brand, app design, and code are owned by us. You may not copy or redistribute them.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GENERATED DESIGNS ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTION ADVICE.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD 50 IF YOU HAVEN’T PAID).

10. Termination

You can stop using Homie at any time and delete your account from Settings (mobile) or from your account panel (web). We can terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Istanbul, unless otherwise required by your local consumer-protection laws.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
