This policy applies to everyone who uses Homie — the mobile app and the web app at homedesign.lol — including the free tier. It is part of our Terms of Use. Homie exists to redesign rooms, homes and exteriors from photos and descriptions. Anything outside that purpose is not what the product is for, and the categories below are prohibited outright.
1. What Homie is for
- Redesigning, restyling, repainting, staging or furnishing a room, a home interior or a building exterior.
- Generating a room from a written description (Text to Room).
- Removing clutter or fixtures from a photo of a space, sharpening a result, and producing a paint palette, a shopping list or a cost estimate for it.
2. Prohibited content and uses
You may not use Homie to create, request, upload or share:
- Sexual or suggestive content. Nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material of any kind, including “artistic” or partial nudity. This applies to prompts, uploaded photos and generated results.
- Content involving minors in any sexual, suggestive or exploitative way. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
- Faces and people. Homie is not a face or body editor. Do not use it to swap, alter, undress, age, or otherwise manipulate a real person’s face or body, to create deepfakes, or to depict a real person without their consent. Photos should show spaces, not people.
- Violence, gore, self-harm or cruelty, including realistic depictions of weapons used against people or animals.
- Hate, harassment or discrimination targeting any group or individual.
- Illegal activity, including instructions or imagery that facilitate it, and content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Deception. Presenting a generated image as a real photograph of a property in a listing, advertisement, insurance claim, valuation or any other context where that misrepresentation could mislead or harm someone. Virtual staging must be disclosed as such where the law or the listing platform requires it.
- Photos you have no right to use. Only upload photos of spaces you own, rent, manage, or have permission to redesign.
- Abuse of the service. Scraping, automated bulk generation, sharing one subscription across many people, reverse-engineering the API, or any attempt to bypass our content screening or usage limits.
3. How we enforce this
- Every text prompt is screened by an automated content-moderation service before it reaches an image model. Prompts that are denied or flagged are blocked and are never generated.
- Uploaded photos and results may be reviewed if a violation is reported or detected.
- Violations can lead to a blocked request, a warning, or immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, depending on severity. Illegal content is reported to law enforcement.
4. Reporting
If you see content generated with Homie that violates this policy, email [email protected] with a link or screenshot. We respond within three business days.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and the law change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
